Wie Landwirte Ausfallzeiten während der Saison reduzieren können: Organisation einer ununterbrochenen Kraftstoffversorgung

How farmers can reduce downtime during the season: organizing uninterrupted fuel supply
Sowing, field cultivation and harvesting are periods when every working hour matters. Agricultural machinery operates at maximum load, and any unplanned stop can lead to schedule disruption, additional costs and loss of part of the crop.

One of the common reasons for downtime of tractors, combines, trucks and other agricultural machinery is untimely fuel supply. So that the farm does not depend on supplier delays and the remoteness of gas stations, it is important to organize its own fuel storage, transportation and delivery system in advance.

Calculate the need for fuel in advance
The first step to uninterrupted operation is a preliminary calculation of fuel consumption. To do this, you need to take into account:

the number of machinery that will work in the field at the same time;
the average fuel consumption of each machine;
the duration of the work shift;
the distance of the fields from the enterprise base;
possible delays in delivery;
reserve for unforeseen work and changing weather conditions.
A fuel reserve helps the farm to continue working even when the next delivery is delayed. At the same time, the volume of the reserve and the method of its storage must meet the real needs of the enterprise and current safety requirements.

Create your own fuel reserve
Stationary fuel tanks, often called fuel drums or tanks, allow you to store the required amount of diesel fuel directly on the farm.

The volume of the tank must be selected individually. For a small farm, a compact tank may be enough, while a large agricultural enterprise needs a system of several tanks or a fuel depot with a larger capacity.

Organize fuel delivery directly to the field
It is not always profitable to constantly return tractors and combines to the base for refueling. This increases mileage, fuel consumption and the time during which the machine is not performing its main work.

A private fuel tanker or fuel tanker helps to solve this problem. It delivers fuel directly to where the equipment is working and allows you to organize refueling without a long break from field work.

With its own fuel tankers, an agricultural enterprise has:

fewer unproductive moves of equipment;
quick refueling of tractors and combines;
the ability to service several remote areas;
reduced risk of stopping work due to lack of fuel.
Fuel tankers and fuel tanksIsuzu APZ-6 — a mobile solution for refueling agricultural equipment
One of Everlast's ready-made solutions is the Isuzu APZ-6 fuel tanker:

total capacity — 6,000 liters;
two-section tank design;
Isuzu mobile chassis;
3-year manufacturer's warranty;
a full package of documents for registration; documents required for obtaining permits for the transportation of dangerous goods.
Isuzu APZ-6 can be used to deliver fuel to the farm, to remote fields and directly to agricultural machinery.

This solution helps to reduce downtime, reduce the number of unproductive trips and ensure stable operation of the enterprise during periods of maximum load.

How to choose a fuel truck or fuel tank
Before ordering equipment, you need to determine:

the required volume of fuel transportation or storage;
the number of sections;
the type of chassis or format of the trailer;
the need for equipment for dispensing and accounting for fuel;
operating conditions and road quality;
the frequency of refueling of equipment;
requirements for the registration and transportation of dangerous goods.
Everlast specialists will help you choose a solution that will meet the real needs of the farm, and will not create unnecessary costs due to insufficient or excessive capacity.
Smooth operation begins with proper logistics
It is impossible to completely eliminate all risks in the agricultural season. However, the farm can prepare in advance for peak loads and minimize downtime associated with fuel supply. Everlast is a Ukrainian manufacturer of tank trucks, fuel tankers, fuel tankers, tank semi-trailers and specialized containers for various business sectors.
